This is a painting taken from the railroad bridge at the site of the Glacier House in Rogers pass, British Columbia, Canada. Glacier House was a remote resort on the railway that inspired the resort at Lake Louise. The trains no longer travel through this way but the bridge remains and I imagined all of the people over the last 150 years or so who stood here and enjoyed this view before me. I had to paint it. This painting has been sold.
